Premature ejaculation

Premature ejaculation

Let’s talk about premature ejaculation and how pelvic floor physiotherapy can help. It is defined as ejaculation that occurs sooner than desired, either before or shortly after penetration.

So… what is pelvic floor rehabilitation and how can it help me?

Pelvic floor rehabilitation is about strengthening the muscles that line the pelvis and cover the pelvic organs. In therapy we retrain this lumbo-pelvic musculature and use equipment.

Including:

Perineal or intra-rectal radiofrequency: stimulates the musculature, increases blood flow and helps regenerate tissues.

Therapeutic exercise: strengthening the musculature plays an important role in all pelvic floor conditions, but here especially a strong muscle tone is linked to maintaining a good erection, improvements in sensation and control over ejaculation.

Biofeedback involves proprioception exercises for the perineum; stimulation can be perineal or intra-rectal.
